Eat & Greet Days

Where:        Coffs Community Gardens

What:            Chat with fellow members, over a long lunch in our beautiful gardens

When:           Anytime between 11am and 2pm, normally on the 1st Thursday of every calendar month.  Next – 6th August

Bring:            Your own food, drink, and smile.

COVID PROTOCOL:    Attendees will need to keep 1.5m distances apart, and not share food or drink.




Annual General Meeting

 

When:          12th September

Time:           11:00am -12:00pm

Where:        Coffs Community Gardens, Combine St

Whom:        All members are welcome

What:          Our Committee reports on and manages the facilities, events, communications, publicity, finances, and legal requirements, then we vote for a new Committee for the next 12 months

Bring:           Your Community Gardens ideas and questions, and your management ideas. Volunteers for next year’s office-holders (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Officer, Garden Manager, and other committee members) are welcome to fill out application forms, available from 18th August.

COVID PROTOCOL:    Attendees will need to keep 1.5m distances apart, wear a mask, and be restricted to 25 persons.

Working Days

When:           From 9am- 11am, normally on the 3rd Sunday of every calendar month.  Next 15th August

Where:        Coffs Community Gardens

What:            Work on weeding, mowing, and special projects

Bring:            A hat, sunglasses, work boots, long sleeves, and any medicine or other protective equipment you will need

Plant Stall Fundraiser at the Gardens


When:          27th February, 2021

Time:           10am – 2pm

Where:        Coffs Community Gardens, Combine St, Coffs Harbour

How to find us:       Combine Street Reserve, behind 51 Combine St, Coffs Harbour

 

What to Bring: Donations (of 2$, 5$, 10$, etc.) to swap for our fundraising seedlings & mature plants. Appropriate clothing and footwear.

Gumbaynggirr Lore Workshop

When:          Sunday 28th March, 2021

Time:           10.30-12.30

Where:        Coffs Community Gardens, Combine St

What:          Our gardens is hosting Uncle Mark Flanders (of the Gumbaynggirr nation), who will present a workshop about Indigenous Bush Tucker; Land management; and Culture
